Preparation, Anticipation, Procrastination

In just a little over a week, I take off on my next big adventure. In preparation, I'm gathering, packing, and spending some quality time with family and friends.

This week I have been scrambling to accomplish tasks that should have been done weeks if not months ago. I ordered some foreign currency, started putting my financial affairs in order, and today I remembered that I really should check to see if I need any other vaccinations... Luckily everything is up to date from last summer's adventure in Ghana.

There are still too many things left to do on the to-do list, and September 2nd is approaching quickly. I fly out of Minneapolis on that day, and I'll land in Granada, Spain on September 3rd. I'll be meeting fellow study abroad students in Granada for our orientation, and together, we'll be travelling across the Straight of Gibraltar through Tangier to Meknes. I'm the only student from Michigan Tech going to Morocco, so I'm looking forward to meeting my fellow classmates/friends for the next few months!
